I. Physical properties: Pale yellow or amber viscous liquid, with relative density (d25) of 1.22-1.26, freezing point of less than -20℃, viscosity (25℃) of 0.7-1.5pa.s, soluble in benzene and ether, and slightly soluble in alcohol.

II. Main technical performance indexes (executed by HG2091-91standard)

Chlorinated paraffin is odorless, non-toxic, non-corrosive, and flame retardant, with no explosion, small volatility and good insulation, soluble in many solvents, such as chlorinated aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, different grades of chlorinated paraffin can be mixed with each other, soluble with natural rubber, chlorinated rubber, synthetic rubber polyester and acetic acid resin, alkyd resin and chlorine containing polymers, possible for mixed use with dioctyl or dibutyl, phthalate acid esters, trimethyl phosphate and other plasticizers, used as PVC plastics, rubber and other auxiliary plasticizers, which not only reduces the production cost, improves the mechanical strength and service life, but also makes the products with performance of flame resistance, electric insulation, hydrophobicity, chemical resistance and oxidation resistance, improving the heat and light stability and good compatibility of the resin, widely used in plasticizers and incremental agent of polyvinyl chloride cable materials, PVC floor materials, soft and hard tubes, rolled plates, leather products, footwear, chlorinated rubber products, also used in alkyd resin, waterproof and fireproof materials, lubricating oil thickening agent, anticoagulant of petroleum products and other fields.

III. Packagingand storage

It is packed in galvanized iron drums or iron drums internally coated with epoxy resin, with 200kg in each barrel drum, stored in a cool and ventilated place, away from heat and sunscreen, and the storage temperature shall not exceed 30℃. The quality guarantee period is 10 months.
