[Purpose] It is mainly used for production of nitric acid, inorganic and organic chemical products, chemical fertilizers and refrigeration, metallurgy, medicine and other industrial raw materials.

[Package] The cylinder or tank used for filling liquid ammonia shall conform to “safety supervision rules for gas cylinders”, “safety supervision rules for pressure vessels” and relevant provisions issued by the former State Labor Bureau. The allowable weight filling coefficient is 0.53Kg/L. The cylinder or tank shall take regular washing, drying and other purification treatment.

[Storage] The cylinder and tank for shipment of liquid ammonia must conform to Regulations Relating Carriage of Dangerous Goods formulated by the Ministry of communications of Ministry of Communications of PRC. The liquid ammonia cylinder shall be stored in a warehouse or a platform with shed; during open storage, the tent shall be used as the cover, to avoid direct sunlight.

[Note] Liquid ammonia is corrosive and toxic. In the course of transport, use and test, relevant personnel must be strictly in accordance with relevant provisions of the GB536-88 standard.
