2. Transport

During summertime, the product shall be transported in the morning or evening in order to prevent bright sunlight and transport route shall conform to specifications.

3. Storage condition

The product shall be stored in cool and ventilated warehouse. The product shall be kept away from fire source and heat source. The package is required to be enclosed. The temperature in the warehouse shall not be more than 25℃ and it shall not be stored in inert gas environment. Tank with large amount storage must have circulating pump inside the tank to prevent the materials at dead angle polymerizing. Long-term storage shall be avoided possibly and storage shall not be more than 180 days in general. It shall be stored separately from oxidizing agent. Illumination, ventilation and other facilities in the warehouse shall use anti-explosion type and the switch shall be set outside the warehouse. Corresponding category and amount of fire fighting equipment shall be provided. Mechanical equipment and tools that easily produce sparks shall be banned. Whether there is leakage phenomenon shall be inspected regularly. Flowing speed (not exceeding 3m/s) shall be noted in filling and there is grounding device to prevent electrostatic concentration. It shall be loaded and unloaded lightly in handling to prevent package and container damage.

Skin exposure: take off the polluted clothes at once, thoroughly wash the skin with soap and clean water, and then go to a doctor.

Eye exposure: lift eyelid at once, wash it with a large amount of clean flowing drinking water or normal saline for at least 15 minutes, and then go to a doctor.

Inhalation: leave the site immediately and go to somewhere where the air is fresh. Keep respiratory tract unimpeded. In case of hard breath, perform oxygen therapy; in case of breath stop, perform artificial respiration and go to a hospital at once.

Ingestion: misusing person shall gargle with water, drink milk or albumen, and go to a doctor.

5. Method of fire protection

Fire extinguishing agent: foam, carbon dioxide, dry powder and sandy soil. Water is invalid for putting out fire; however, it can be used to keep the container in fire cool. Fireman must wear fire proofing and anti-poison clothes. Fireman must operate at position with protective cover in case of big fire.

IV. Product purposes

Methyl acrylate is used in the manufacture of paint, artificial rubber, adhesive, thickener, Bisexual surfactant, fiber, plastic, textile and ink. Methyl acrylate is also used in chemical synthetic reaction. When it is used in the formula of emulsion paint, the polymer of acrylic acid has good nature of waterproofing and gentle resistance and excellent nature of weather and sunlight resistance.
